Submission of abstracts
All those who wish to participate in the Scientific Programme with an Oral Presentation, a Thematic Symposium, a Workshop or a Poster Presentation, within the framework of the Conference's thematic theme, are invited to submit the abstract of the presentation, the Poster Presentation, the proposed Workshop, or the Symposium proposal with the abstracts of the contributions, following the Writing Guidelines.
Abstracts will be submitted exclusively electronically to the email: 17sdg@diamorfosis.eu.
All abstracts submitted will be judged by a double-blind review process by the Conference Scientific Committee.
Abstract Writing Guidelines
Abstracts for each proposed oral presentation, posted paper, workshop or for a thematic symposium presentation should not exceed 300 words.
Select the thematic section/axis in which you propose to include the paper. In each abstract:
- The title of the abstract should be written in capital letters and accents.
- The full names of the authors should be written in capital letters and accents, with the first name followed by the surname, in full lettering.
- The name of each author should be followed by the name of the workplace or educational/academic institution with which he/she is associated, in capital letters.
The summary may, for example, be structured as follows:
- Introduction/Purpose
- Purpose/Purpose/Purpose/Purpose
- Introduction/Purpose/Purpose/Purpose: Method/Purpose
- Conclusions
- Key words
- Bibliography
Presenters should also bear in mind the following:
- The Scientific Committee reserves the right to propose after the evaluation a different thematic section or a different way of presenting the abstract.
- Each interested person may participate in the Conference with a maximum of three oral presentations and one thematic symposium or one poster presentation, either as sole rapporteur or as a member of the rapporteurs.
Accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference Book of Abstracts.
Papers presented at the Conference will be given the opportunity to be re-evaluated for publication in the Conference Proceedings Book.
General information on the presentation of the work
Oral presentations will be integrated into thematic sessions or thematic symposia, lasting ninety minutes (90').
Each session or symposium is expected to include four to five presentations of up to 15 minutes each.
The posters will be presented during the Poster Session to be set out in the Programme.
The size of the posted announcement should be: 0.80 cm x 1.20 cm (vertical) and should be legible from a distance of 2 meters.
Workshops should be up to forty-five minutes (45') in duration.
